On the peaceful Sea of Cortez side of the Baja peninsula, its beauty first charmed Spanish explorers centuries ago. Today, it continues to charm everyone fortunate enough to experience it.
Sea of Cortez
Jacques Cousteau called the Sea of Cortez ‘The World’s Aquarium’. We believe him. The rhythm of our days seems to be set by these gorgeous azure waters that are home to one of the planet’s most biodiverse seas. On land, Mother Nature creates awe with her abundant deserts, rugged mountains and rolling plains on this beautiful Baja peninsula.
The East Cape
This sweeping forty-mile cape will take your breath away as it encompasses the most magnificent parts of Southern Baja. Perfectly situated one and a half hours north of Cabo San Lucas and one and a half hours south of the capital city of La Paz, the East Cape is the absolute best part in between.
Los Barriles is the Hub
Los Barriles or "The Barrels" in Spanish is the East Cape’s hub with a friendly, cool vibe where days are filled with adventure. Known first as one of the world’s best blue water fishing destinations, and it still is. Known now for a place to do it all and embrace it all – kiteboard, snorkel, scuba dive, swim, hike or bike into the beautiful mountains that create the backdrop for this youthful seaside community. Join friends and play pickleball or drop on your mat and do yoga. Watch whales or cruise with dolphins. Stand Up Paddleboard and greet the rising sun or the full moon.
